I think I've been a member of this club longer than any other active member. I have to say that I truly believe we currently have by far the most talented group of photographers that I've seen. In fairness I believe that the digital revolution has benefited us all, but more so than just the technical side I see a lot of really talented members from the artsy side of the equation. There are so many folks with a really good eye! I've been both inspired and a bit humbled by this group. But most importantly I've really enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships that have formed over the past few years. |
| I've been an active member for a little over a year. I'm a member of other photo clubs and professional organizations, and Photographers Anonymous is definitely the one that I feel has been the most supportive of myself and other members of any skill level. There's a true positive attitude in this group that is more prevalent than in others. The trip to the U.P. is a good example. I think photographers in general just roll with whatever is happening, but I've been on other group trips that haven't been nearly as cohesive. It must be the leadership! | ![]() |

I have to agree with all the comments. We have a great group for many reasons.
From technical expertise, to artistic eyes, to amazing knowledge of nature and species. I learn by talking with you all and looking at what you have created. I have been taking pictures for two thirds of my life, but this club is the best thing I have done to grow in the hobby. |
| Comments like these are what makes a newcomer feel welcomed and excited about being a member of a very special photography group. I joined the Riveredge club about ten months ago and I'm glad I did. All members have been very helpful and willing to share their opinions about any questions and critiques to help me grow as a better photographer. Thanks to All. | ![]() |

I have been a member for 8 years and have watched many amateurs become professionals and turn their hobby into a business while being members in this club. The friendships I have made will be treasured forever. The knowledge that many members have and share is our biggest asset. |
